A Seasoned Teacher
with a Prophetic Voice
“My heart is to build God’s house by empowering leaders in every sphere to hear God’s voice and bring His Kingdom into every corner of the world.”
-Brian Daehn
Meet Brian & Dedra Daehn
Brian, a native of Canada, was in the midst of a successful business career when a powerful encounter with God changed the course of his life. He later settled in Portland, Oregon, where he graduated from Portland Bible College and earned a Master of Divinity from Western Seminary. Following a year as Academic Dean at Harvest International Bible College, Brian returned to Portland Bible College, serving as a full-time instructor and influential leader at City Bible (now Manna House Church) for over a decade. In 2007, Brian’s life was marked by the loss of his wife, Brenda, to cancer. Shortly after, he became the senior pastor of Highpoint City Church in Iowa City. In 2008, Brian remarried Dedra in what they both see as a divinely orchestrated union. Though on separate paths, they met during a brief window of time and quickly recognized God’s call to a shared life. Six months later, they were married. After their time at Highpoint, Brian and Dedra felt called back to Vancouver, WA, where they planted and led The Living Well Church as senior pastors. Eventually, God led Brian out of full-time pastoring to focus on family and chaplaincy. He spent over two years at the Portland Veterans Administration Hospital, completing ACPE certification and fellowship programs, which opened new avenues for ministry to individuals facing mental health challenges, chronic illnesses, and terminal conditions. For over a decade, Brian has served as a hospice chaplain across government, corporate, and private sectors, offering comfort and guidance to patients and families during end-of-life transitions and grief. With nearly three decades of ministry experience, Brian is passionate about empowering individuals to fulfill their divine purpose. His ministry has taken him across the U.S. and internationally, leading prophetic gatherings, seminars, and leadership training. Outside of ministry, Brian treasures his family life. He and Dedra, married for sixteen years, enjoy their five adult daughters, along with their son-in-law, and two grandsons. Together, they share a love for travel, cooking, hiking, biking, and serving others through their faith.
